about Lynzie

Hi, I'm Lynzie Northrup. I am the owner of Complete Critter Care. Ever since I was a little girl, I loved animals. I grew up with cats, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, anoles, geckos and fish, and pet sat other people’s pets. In fact, I dreamt that one day I could work (and play) with all types of animals, including wildlife. So when the opportunity came for me to be able to study and work with animals, I enrolled in the Vet Tech program at Bergen Community College in NJ where I earned an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology.  

After relocating to Holly Springs, NC from NJ in 2019, I applied to the Duke Lemur Center Technician Assistant program in Durham where I volunteered for a little over a year to care for the Madagascar primates. I also decided to start a critter sitting business. I always loved to help people, and I thought what better way than to care for people’s animals while they are on vacation or whenever they need to be away from home.
